What It Is
Trusted by many for its superior results, Alpha Restoration is an all-around favorite for improving texture, plumping the skin, and clarifying the complexion by gently un-glueing dead cells from the epidermis. Through rigorous research and multiple testing, Alpha Hydroxy Acids, also known as “fruit acids”, are shown to be startlingly effective in counteracting sun damage, relieving dry skin conditions, fading hyper-pigmentation, smoothing fine lines, treating various grades of acne, and combating photo-aging. They also accelerate the natural production of Hyaluronic Acid to prevent the loss of moisture for a healthier, smoother, and younger complexion.

Glycolic acid is the simplest of a group of naturally occurring non-toxic acids collectively known as Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA). Glycolic Acid has the smallest known molecular structure for maximum penetration. Cells shed less efficiently with age, they tend to get stuck and come off in clumps, causing dry skin. As demonstrated in numerous trials, fruit acids work by loosening cell's bonds to help exfoliate the surface layers of the skin. This stimulation causes cells to shed more smoothly and speedily, normalizing the skin's outer layer, thicken the epidermis, and improve the skin's ability to retain moisture. Unlike RETIN-A, AHA does not cause photo-sensitivity.

Use Alpha Restoration in the AM and PM. For normal or dry skin, wait 1-2 minutes before applying moisturizer. Dispense several small drops and apply gently all over the face, a bit more can be applied to problem areas. Do not apply around the eyes. Some initial flaking, sloughing, or light peeling may occur. Rarely, temporary mild stinging, redness, or increased sensitivity may be experienced. This is not an allergic reaction and is not a cause for alarm.
